Job Description

As a Vice President of Marketing, you will oversee Anago’s brand management and communication strategy. This includes messaging, public relations and communications; content development and distribution; creative and branding; artist, talent, and influencer engagement; social media; advertising; and media partnerships. You will be responsible for overall strategy and management of all the marketing team members.

You will have a critical role as a member of Anago’s executive team in strategic decision-making as we continue to expand our franchise opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for contributing to the leadership and culture of the organization, working closely with the executive team. This position requires an individual who can serve as a thought leader in the organization and partner to the CEO & President.

As a Vice President of Marketing, a typical week might include the following:

  • Developing and implementing marketing plans and budgets to support goals and initiatives including driving awareness, brand consideration, and client and franchise lead conversions
  • Managing your team in production and design, social media, and content development
  • Meeting with senior leadership to develop new strategies for growth
  • Tracking new emerging industry trends and maintaining an in-depth understanding of digital marketing channels, platforms and mobile technologies
  • Preparing reports reflecting the effectiveness of all marketing efforts including methods, cost, financial impact on the brand and franchisees.
  • Adjusting strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness based on those results.

The role might be right for you if you have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • A minimum of 10+ years of marketing experience and 5+ years of managing a team
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software programs
  • Solid working knowledge of SEO & SEM
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and brand management
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
  • A creative mindset with a knack for innovation
  • Demonstrated people leadership and management skills
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating your ability to create and execute successful marketing campaigns across all digital platforms,

Bonus points if you have:

  • MBA or other advanced graduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • Franchise experience
  • B2B service industry experience
